Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the vantar.xyz website and its waitlist (the "Services"), operated by Vantar Group LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company ("Vantar", "we", "us"). Our open-source projects are licensed separately, and our commercial work is agreed separately. Neither is governed by these Terms. By accessing or using our Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

These Terms cover: — vantar.xyz: an informational website. — The waitlist: you may give us your email address to hear about early access. You can ask us to remove it at any time. Covered by their own terms, not by these Terms: — Colloq: an open-source language experiment, licensed under Apache 2.0 at github.com/Vantar-AI/colloq. Its licence governs your use of it. — Nuro SDK: an open-source research SDK, licensed under Apache 2.0 at github.com/Vantar-AI/nuro. Its licence governs your use of it. — Coldstack: in design-partner recruitment. Any use runs under a separate written agreement.

You may use the Services for lawful purposes only. You may not: — Use the Services to violate any applicable law — Attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to our infrastructure — Submit other people's email addresses to the waitlist, or submit addresses automatically We reserve the right to suspend access for violations without notice.

Colloq and the Nuro SDK are open-source under Apache 2.0. You retain ownership of anything you build with them. The Vantar website and all Vantar branding are proprietary to Vantar Group LLC. You may not use the Vantar name, logo, or trademarks without written permission.

The website and the waitlist are provided without uptime guarantees and without a service level agreement. We make reasonable efforts to keep them available.

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. VANTAR GROUP LLC DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VANTAR GROUP LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR BUSINESS, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SERVICES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THE SERVICES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Sheridan County, Wyoming.

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated by email to people on the waitlist at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
